It has been a wonderful project to work along side the Norwegian and Germans students and to see how differently they work. I knew it was one way for me to see other part of the world. And it was true, It really open my vision. I had a chance to meet with a lot of people. The exchange program really allows students to learn and exchange knowledge with people from other parts of the world, and that is an experience of a lifetime. I would recommend it to everyone, don't be afraid!

First of all, I want to thank all the teachers who took part in this project, for letting us being the first ones to participate in it. In my opinion, a project like this can make a huge difference not only in our way to speak English, but most importantly in the way we understand all the world around us. Travelling and spending some time with people from other countries can offer you unforgettable moments, and a wonderful experience that you would love to repeat.

Some people will think that the point in all this stuff is just travelling. For those who think that: you’re wrong. Even if travelling is indeed a lot of fun and we would love to do it as much as we could, we also felt very happy to host someone at our house. At first, you can think that the point in hosting someone is that someone is going to host you in exchange. When I hosted my German partner, I soon understood that wasn’t the objective. Having her at my house felt almost like having a little sister, the little sister I never had. When they had to go back home, we felt like if a part of our own life was leaving, and we assumed that the most valuable part of the project is the one that’s not material, and can’t be translated into a single language: friendship.

As you might have already seen, I think that this project has a lot of future. You don’t understand how awful is your English level until you feel forced to use it, and when you really care about someone whom you can only talk English to. I would really love to repeat the experience, but I understand that other people should take our place and give it a try. Some people might feel nervous, another might feel insecure. Don’t worry too much about it, you won’t regret it. From all the ways we used to connect, the one that made me feel better wasn’t an English word, but just a charming smile.

Before beginning this writing, I wanted to thank all the teachers involved in the organization of the project. Being part of the Comenius project is one of the greatest things that have happened to me in my life. Going to a stranger's home and being hosted as if the knew me made me feel really lucky. I think it was a wonderful experience, and I want to repeat very soon. I really appreciate the chance I got of going to Norway. The place that I liked the most was the Vigeland Park, because it's a place I always wanted to visit. When it was my time for hosting, I also had a terrific time with all the students from Norway and Germany. In the time I'd been hosting, I understood that the real point of the project wasn't traveling, but making new friends and introducing someone from outside to your environment. Changing the subject, I don't think I got the point of some of the activities like the pilgrim book. Anyway, I think it was totally worth it. This project will be in my heart forever.

When Olga came to class and explained that this project consist in, I never imagined that my life would change starting from the experience. I learned that there are more world, more culture and more impressive places to visit and share with people as I have been fortunate to meet during this project.

I have been fortunate to be able to live the three chapters of this great story that we have written between German, Norwegian and Spanish people and certainly I have incredible memories of the three exchanges.

In Norway, we lived the most important day for them and that made our week there more special. We could see as education and how to teach is totally different from what we are used to. And there we realize that the streets and places that we see in the movies really exist. For me it was like living a week in one of my favorite series.

When they came to Barcelona to us the truth is that it was a challenge to organize things for forty people and we all agreed, I think that's the only “bad thing” I remember of Comenius. Leaving that, had in my house two people from completely different cultures was impressive, both for me and for my parents, because the three were able to learn languages and share experiences with two very different people from us, the truth is that this week I flew by and I didn’t want that my two little sisters return to their homes. It seems that they are not but when you welcome in your home and they leave you is a big void in you, because you go from being five people living together to get back on your own with your parents.

I think they have a very great time here and all, Germans and Norwegians, had great memories of our city and of us.

The experience in Germany, like the other two was unforgettable. Hamburg is a city that surprised me because I didn’t expect such nice. And like the other two exchanges I take great memories in common with the others, who has really taught me a lot about what is life outside our city.

This project has taught me to live away from home, I lost the shame to speak English, and certainly I have known sites and amazing people.

If I had to put a note to this experience I would rate a 9, but maybe I would put a 10, and would repeat it all over again.

Comenius project is an unforgettable experience that everyone will remember forever.

Thank you very much to the teachers of the three countries that have made this possible and thanks to the families who have welcomed us so well at all, and I hope the friendship that this project created goes on for years and we meet again in a few years to see photos and remember everything that we live.
