Literacy
We learn to develop strategies to speak English in public, prepare powerpoint presentacions and share the information we learn from very different sources. We read, listen and watch very interesting topics of literature, science, history or culture. Afterwards we can use and develop such strategies to improve our learning in the other subjects. Then learning becomes meaningful and fun!!
Oceans project
3rd of ESO students have worked on the topic of Oceans and polution. They have gathered in small groups and have done some research about the topic. They have helped eachother, with the teacher's guidance, in pronunciation and strategies to improve oral presentations. The final product has been very enriching. Have a look at the videos!!
Journalistic text
3rd of ESO students have worked on the analysis of journalistic texts. Such texts have a vocabulary and structure that sometimes is difficult to understand for students of English as a second language. Using pieces of news from very different topics students have learned how these work. Using a project with a series of steps to follow, they worked with more than 10 different journalistic texts. Well done kids!!
